Signage & Site Furnishings
Athletic Fields of America installs scoreboards, signage, benches, trash receptacles, bike racks, pavilions, shade structures, and site furnishings that turn a field into a complete facility. These are the details that get overlooked when projects are scoped piece by piece — and the details that make the difference between a finished facility and one that still feels half-built.
What We Install
Our signage and site furnishing projects typically include:
- Scoreboards — for football, baseball, softball, soccer, lacrosse, multi-sport, and track facilities
- Sponsor and donor signage — perimeter signs, naming-rights signage, and outfield wall sponsors
- Wayfinding and facility signage — entrance signs, field signs, restroom signs, parking signs, and event signage
- Benches — spectator benches, team benches, dugout benches, and outdoor seating for picnic and gathering areas
- Trash receptacles and recycling bins — coordinated with facility maintenance and spectator flow
- Bike racks — for schools, parks, and recreation facilities
- Pavilions and shade structures — for spectators, picnic areas, equipment storage, and event hosting
- Drinking fountains and water bottle fillers — at fields, parking lots, and central gathering points
- Flag poles and ceremonial features — for varsity stadiums, school facilities, and municipal sites
The Details Matter
Site furnishings are easy to overlook in the early design stages — but the moment a facility opens, every spectator notices whether there’s a place to sit while waiting for the game, whether the trash cans are convenient, whether the entrance signage actually tells people where to go, and whether the scoreboard works.
We treat these details as part of the project scope from the start, not as line items to value-engineer out at the end. The result is a facility that feels complete on opening day — not one that gets gradually finished out over the next several seasons.
Scoreboards Built for the Sport
Modern athletic scoreboards do more than show the score. They handle game clock, period, time-outs, sponsor display, and in many cases video and graphics. We install scoreboards sized to the facility and the sport — from basic 4-digit boards for youth and JV fields to multi-line LED boards with sponsor panels for varsity stadiums.
We coordinate electrical service, controls, and operator stations as part of the install — not as a separate scope to figure out later.
Sponsor and Donor Signage
For many high school and college athletic facilities, sponsor and donor signage is a meaningful piece of the project budget. We work with athletic departments and booster organizations to design and install perimeter signage, outfield wall sponsors, and naming-rights signage that meet the program’s fundraising goals while staying coordinated with the rest of the facility’s look.
We treat these details as part of the project scope from the start, not as line items to value-engineer out at the end. The result is a facility that feels complete on opening day — not one that gets gradually finished out over the next several seasons.
